Departure will be at 8:30 a.m. from the Green Discovery office in Pakse. We drive up to the Bolaven Plateau, which was once part of Ho-Chi-Minh trail and pass local tea and coffee plantations. Watch the fermentation of tea leaves and taste the finished product. The next stop is at the famous 120m high Tad Fan waterfall, followed by the Tad Ngeoung waterfall. The latter is a beautiful spot for swimming, taking a rest and to have lunch. We continue for another hour to Ban Phou Oy to visit Jhai’s coffee fair trade farmers’ co-op on the Bolaven Plateau. Witness the processing of coffee from planting to roasting to the final cup. In evening we enjoy local food and participate in a traditional Lao Baci ceremony prepared by the villagers at the house you are staying.
