
Depart from Boat Landing Guesthouse; we cycle to Ban Poung of Black Tai minority, Nam Thoung of Tai Leu minority and Ban Nam Dee of Lanten minority. We will see silk production and silk weaving with natural dyes, a Lao alcohol distillery, mountain vistas, and expanses of rice paddy as well as visit a small waterfall. In the cold season, we can learn about Lanten paper making. Lunch will include local village food prepared by Tai Leu villagers. On the way back to town, we stop at the provincial wet market before riding on to That Phoum Pouk Stupa and then back to the Boat Landing Guesthouse.
